Tech Support Specialist

Hours: Full-Time

Job Description:

This is an IT/customer technical support position. This position supports the day-to-day management of customer security hardware and software, as well as various aspects of technical, installation, operational, and ongoing service performance operations.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in information technology is required.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in IT tech support or Help Desk.
  • A basic understanding of security and video systems and how they connect via WAN and LAN networks.
  • Significant knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP networking for SOHO, port forwarding, DDNS, IP addressing, routing/switching, etc.
  • Can demonstrate fundamental computer, networking, and IT knowledge.
  • Computer hardware knowledge and experience with both PC and Apple operating systems.

General Administrator​

Hours: Full-Time

Job Description:

This position enhances the effectiveness of the company by providing information management support and organization to administrative and sales personnel. It’s a full-time position, Monday-Friday, and will entail a 90-day orientation period.

Qualifications:

  • Two-year associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Office Operations

  • Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
  • Cross-trains on Specialists’ tasks to act as a backup.
  • Organizes work by reading and routing correspondence; collecting information; and initiating telecommunications.
  • Responds to inquiries in a compliant, pleasant, and ethically sound manner.
  • Manages customer satisfaction by routinely following up on new and existing customers.
  • Maintains industry technical knowledge by reading and understanding industry-related publications.
  • Completes any forms in accordance with company procedures.
  • Emails promotional material and other information as requested.
  • Assists sales team in proposal data entry and information management.
  • Confirms appointments for clients, customers, and employees.
  • Assists the President in performing administrative tasks.
  • Maintains filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
  • Research to find needed information to support company employees and customers.
  • Assists and coordinates conferences and meetings.
  • Reviews/proofreads work done by others and provides recommended revisions.
  • Operates office equipment such as scanners, copiers, and phone systems, and uses company-specific software to enter/retrieve data.

Customer Service:

  • Prepares new customer contracts and distributes them to customers
  • Assists customers with new account setup and managing existing accounts.
  • Addresses customer compliments, complaints, and account questions.
  • Assists in preparing welcome packets for all new customers.
  • Greets visitors and customer service callers and routes the customer according to standardized processes.
  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, assists team members and customers to ensure customer satisfaction is 100%.

Business Development Manager

Hours:  Full-Time

Job Description: 

The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to prospect, grow, and nurture new business opportunities within the Pittsburgh metro area with a focus on generating new revenue and improving profitability in accordance with 2 Krew business objectives. This position is tasked with prospecting to identify new potential opportunities and progress them through the sales cycle, converting leads into customers. The BDM develops and maintains positive relationships with new and existing commercial customers by highlighting industry knowledge and expertise backed by the company’s reputation. This position supports a fast-paced growth environment and regularly communicates with the internal sales and leadership teams.

This BDM is a salary-plus-commission position. There will also be bonus opportunities based on the overall achievement of the position KPIs. Both the commission scale and KPI/bonus structure are available upon request.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Leverages various contact methods such as cold calling or in-person meetings to secure profitable sales through contact lists and self-generated leads to grow YoY results 

  • Accomplishes business development by researching and developing marketing/sales opportunities and plans 

  • Sells and assists in the design of fire alarms, intrusion alarms, access control, video surveillance, and data solutions for new and existing customers. 

  • Meets regularly to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders via face-to-face visits, video conferencingor phone calls  

  • Possesses the ability to present proposals and solutions to all levels of staff, including executives 

  • Maintains strong understanding of market share and competitor strategies 

  • Maintains an awareness of industry and market trends and technical developments and informs leadership of any potential impacts 

  • Identifies and maintains a detailed and accurate database of qualified prospects within the company CRM  

  • Attends relevant industry events to identify market opportunities 

  • Manages key accounts as needed by sustaining rapport with stakeholders through making periodic visitsexploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities 

  • Attends a minimum of one industry specific networking event each month  

  • Meets or exceeds a monthly sales quota  

  • Updates knowledge by participating in continual education through sales and vendor-specific training 

  • Maintains status in professional and industry-specific organizations 

 

Leadership: 

  • Develops business case for new opportunities and proposes strategic approaches to winning bids 

  • Assists with strategic planning as well as budget creation 

  • Assists in identifying and implementing marketing strategies 

  • Reviews, updates, writes, and communicates policies and procedures to improve the position’s effectiveness 

  • Assists internal sales, project management and executive leadership to ensure the mission, vision and values are honored for each client/job 

 

Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications: 

  • 2 years of proven experience winning new B2B relationships 

  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, and well organized. 

  • Proficiency in basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software 

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong business acumen 

  • Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance for products and/or services 

  • Proactively and consistently demonstrates the value of selecting 2 Krew as a security partner 

  • Demonstrates a competitive, positive attitude, quickly adapts to different situations, and recovers from setbacks 

  • Ability to understand customer requirements and project concepts to interpret, translate, and explain detailed technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

Sales Administrator​

Hours: Full-Time

Job Description:

The Sales Administrator will work closely with the sales team to prepare meeting minutes, and proposals, follow through with customers, routing calls, assist with conferences and meetings, and provide exemplary customer service to our clients as well as the sales team.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A high degree of analytical aptitude

  • Strong attention to detail and a “can-do” attitude.

  • MS Office experience as well as knowledge of office equipment is required.
